We're pregnant...
Yes, this post comes very late in my pregnancy as
we're now 23 weeks pregnant, and everyone already knows. However, in all
fairness I was extremely sick for the first 16 weeks, and I'm finally feeling
like myself again. At around 12 weeks, I started feeling better during the
daytime, however nights were still very difficult. I only got sick about 4
times, however I was in a constant state of nausea. I had HORRIBLE heartburn,
headaches, cramping, and like most pregnancies I was beyond exhausted. I
assumed that my second pregnancy was going to be very similar to my first,
which was not the case. I literally didn't have any pregnancy symptoms while
pregnant with Kenley, not even cravings! Now that I'm feeling so much better I
can really begin to enjoy my pregnancy!
It's a Girl...
I know I've already shared this as well. I'm overly
thrilled that we're having another little girl enter our blessed lives! Our
diagnostic doctor originally told us at 12 weeks that it appeared as though we
were having a little boy. She said 75% chance we were going to have a little
boy. She did tell us though that it could be the umbilical cord. I was almost
certain we were having a boy since my pregnancy symptoms were so different than
my first pregnancy. When we went back in at 20 weeks the doctor asked, "now
what did I tell you that sex was?" I said, "75% chance a boy!"
She said, "It's actually a GIRL!" I must admit I was quite excited,
as I so wanted Kenley to have a sister. I think Blaine was in a little shock at
first, however he is beyond ecstatic as well.
Cheers to a continued life wrapped in PINK!
